Ensure Your Fishing Future!

The Jervis Bay Marine Park is under review and now is the time to have your say on how the park is structured.
If you like fishing and spearfishing, you need to let the Government know that you won't accept unfair lock-outs of prime fishing areas.

If you don't take five minutes to have a say on Jervis Bay's future, it is highly likely that you and your family will face further restrictions on where and when you can wet a line.

Anglers understand that we need to protect the environment but that protection doesn't have to mean that we're banned from fishing.

Anti-fishing groups and extremist greens are actively lobbying to stop you being able to enjoy the sport of fishing in Jervis Bay and other areas around NSW. Do you want this to happen?

Time to act!

This website has been established to make YOUR voice heard on the proposed changes to the Jervis Bay Marine Park. A similar website has been set up to do the exact same thing with the Solitary Islands Marine Park at Coffs Harbour. The www.savesol.com website has been a huge success and we're hoping for similar levels of support for the Jervis Bay Marine Park.

We have prepared a submission for you that details how we would all like to see the Jervis Bay Marine Parks amended. This submission has been prepared by local anglers and spearfishers who have an intricate knowledge of the effect these changes will have. It included input from, but not limited to:

  • Fishing World Magazine
  • Spearfishing Downunder Magazine
  • Jervis Bay Game Fishing Fishing Club
  • Shoalhaven Game Fishing Club
  • Basin Lure and Fly Fishing Club
  • Australian Land Based Anglers Association
  • The Australian National Sportfishing Association
  • The Recreational Fishing Alliance of NSW
  • The Australian Fishing Trade Association

Make it Count!
